Working for a professional sports team is a goal of many, but achieved by few. Think about it, if you worked for a professional team, better yet YOUR professional team, would you ever leave that job? That is the problem, very low turnover for team jobs.
It was always my dream, but something I didn’t pursue the right way. Looking back, I would have gotten my foot in the door with an internship, worked my tail off, built my network of team contacts and then tried mightily to get hired full-time.
Now is the time to start pursuing those internship opportunities, if you’re a baseball fan this might be the coolest internship opportunity I’ve seen yet.

When I interned, I watched other people do a lot of work and was told “don’t touch”, this sounds like a great opportunity to get hands-on inside the game of baseball from many angles.
