New York Red Bulls – Multimedia Intern (Harrison, NJ)
- Multimedia interns are primarily responsible for the production and packaging of the Red Bulls related videos, as assigned by the Manager, New Media.
- Filming Red Bulls training, matches and events as well as assisting in interviews.
- Creating video content for NewYorkRedBulls.com and RedBullsReader.com which may include some Spanish content.
- Various administrative duties as requested.
Philadelphia Union, Video Production Intern – Duties Include:
- Design and creation of audio/video content and graphics for in-stadium video board and website.
- Editing of game video and audio content.
- Shooting game footage, press conferences, outside events, etc.
- Logging and archiving footage.
- Maintaining all elements of the control room
Philadelphia Union, Communications Intern – Duties Include:
- Press box runner/game quotes
- Retrevial of newsclips
- Upkeep of Media list and various activity charts
- Creation of newsletter
- Assist with press releases
- Upkeep of archives
- Assist with credentialing
- Type up line sheets and roster cards
FC Dallas, Digital Content Internship – Duties Include:
- Assist the communications and marketing departments on game days to coordinate and implement communications endeavors such as video footage, interviews, transcription, and other related duties
- Assist in creating, editing and publishing content for fcdallas.com, fcdallasyouth.com and other websites
- Monitor site traffic and analytics for fcdallas.com
- Assist in developing storylines and creating blog posts
- Assist in coverage of FCD Juniors/Youth System and DFW adult league soccer
- Participate in events, promotions, and other activities as required
- Work with Marketing Director, Coordinator and Digital Content Editor on Social Media Marketing efforts, including strategy, communication and growth of Facebook, YouTube and Twitter

FC Dallas, Sports Management Overview Internship – Duties Include:
- Assisting with daily correspondence to FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park guests
- Delivering superior customer service and exceeding fan expectations
- Researching customer retention strategies or potential marketing strategies
- Administrative office duties including filing, organizing, data entry and mailing
- Assisting in planning and implementing special marketing events and promotions
- Assisting with ticket sales activities and events; including receptions; game day entertainment
- Contribute to brainstorming; planning and implementation of ticket sales plans; idea and proposals
- Assisting with set up and tear down for events including game days and possible concerts.
Portland Timers – Various Opportunities with the newest MLS Team
Video Analysis – The VA Intern will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with the video analysis software provided. They will meet with the Timbers coaching staff on a weekly basis and provide the coaching staff with a game-specific video breakdown as well as a written synopsis of the breakdown. The intern will also be expected to attend home games and may be asked to film specific parts of all home games. The VA Intern is expected to complete 10-20 hours per week, some of which can be completed off-site. The VA Intern is expected to have a knowledge and proficiency in computers (Excel and Word), have a laptop PC and a soccer background
Events & Promotions – Assist in the conceptualization, planning and execution of all matches and large-scale events. Requires creative types who work best under pressure; experience with event production/promotions/game presentation a plus
Media Relations – Assist the Portland Timbers communication department in all facets of the department’s operation – writing stories/articles, creating website content, aiding in completion of team publications, multimedia, and working with the local media outlets. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to work in the sports industry and possess a strong knowledge of soccer and excellent writing skills. Print journalism experience is a plus.
Photography – The Portland Timbers photography internship is an all-encompassing internship in the field of photography. The ideal candidate is responsible for capturing photos of matches, promotional events and sponsored activities. In addition, they will work with the team’s official photographer on photo archiving and processing. A strong desire to work in sports photography, an eye for captivating photo opportunities and a working knowledge of soccer are required.
